![]() ![]() As a fan of both and seeing how well it worked here, I’d like to see a joint album from the two in the near future. The chemistry between the two was very apparent and Travis’s respect and influence by Cudi definitely came across on this track. Cudi’s signature humming style and multi-layered vocals acted as an instrument overlaying the typically sinister trap beat that we have come to expect from Travis. The best track on the album was by far the foreboding nightmarish trap lullaby that is “Through the Late Night” featuring self-proclaimed stoner-loner, Kid Cudi. Although there was a long list of producers and features, the songs all ended up meshing into one, with a very small amount of standout tracks to reference. Mike Dean, Wondagurl, and Cardo, are just some of the producers who worked on BITSM, with all of them contributing to the dark and ominous sounds that took over the entirety of the album. Forest, and Roy Woods all lend their voices to the 14-track album. Andre 3000, Blac Youngsta, Nav, Cassie, Kendrick Lamar, 21 Savage, Bryson Tiller, Kid Cudi, Young Thug, Quavo, The Weeknd, K. His mixtape Days Before the Rodeo, which I believe constitutes some of his best work, brings forth this same sentiment of creating two completely opposite works of art in a single track.īITSM had a set of unique features that all worked fairly well on their respective songs. The sonic version of the classic devil on one shoulder and angel on the other was told through all of the tracks on Rodeo with each one bringing something new to the table. ![]() Tracks like “90210” and “Oh My Dis Side” were gorgeous masterpieces that showed Travis’s dual genius, in that one-half would be a sinister devilish beat then would somehow manifest into a light heavenly piece. Travis’s previous full-length studio album, Rodeo, had plenty of standout songs and also was an ode to what makes Travis such a genius in what he does. After my fangirl filter wore off and I put my journalist glasses on, I realized that although BITSM produces banger after banger of danceable music, it is not Travis Scott’s best album, in fact, it is his worst one by a long shot. Upon first listen to the album, I milly-rocked to every track and shared the sentiments of so many YouTubers and bloggers who felt that BITSM was the in the running for the most lit album of the year. They drawlin ? a major fan of Travis Scott, I was one of the super hype dark-trap music enthusiasts who scrambled to listen to his Rodeo follow-up, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight. Travis: “Bro I already told you I know what I’m doing.” /dR6EmwD6WT Nav: “Bro don’t you think my vocals a bit to low?” Nav finally addresses his vocals on AstroWorld ? /5v4J6Mf8Lh Nav helped produce Scott’s last album Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight and recently dropped the visuals for his single “Champion.” On the other-hand, Scott revealed plans for Astroworld Festival 2018. Take a listen to Nav’s updated “Yosemite” verse below. The change can now be found on all major streaming services including Spotify, Apple Music, and Tidal. Now Scott has shared a new updated version of “Yosemite,” which corrects the mastering mistake. This quickly led to a string of memes poking fun at the loudness discrepancy. Featured on the track “Yosemite,” fans quickly took notice of Nav’s verse which was significantly lower in volume than others on the album. ![]() ![]() ![]() Grace responds to Brooke and explains some of the historical aspects of Jesus: what He said and what He did. Later on, when Grace is teaching another class to her students, Brooke asks an honest and sincere question about Jesus Christ in the classroom. Grace explains to Brooke all about Jesus and how her positive attitude and loving heart stems from her unashamed love for Jesus. And it's at this moment in God's Not Dead 2 that Grace Wesley chooses to share her faith with Brooke. Her brother has recently passed away, and ever since, Brooke has been looking for something more, a sense of peace and hope. So when Grace reaches out to her and they meet for coffee, Brooke opens up to her about her difficult life at home. Grace takes notice of one of the girls in her class, Brooke, who is obviously hurting and looking for a sense of purpose in her life. Wesley is normally bubbling over with joy and love, and all of this can be traced back to one place: her undying and unashamed love for Jesus Christ. Her goal in her classroom is to help her students to understand and appreciate history, and this has led to her becoming a beloved teacher at the school. This historic town is where the popular and much-loved teacher Grace Wesley resides. God's Not Dead 2 takes place in Hope Springs, home of not only Hadleigh University, but Martin Luther King Jr., as well. Will we boldly stand up for our faith or will we stay quiet and allow the world to continue removing and even blaspheming His name? And if we allow them to do that, will we even be able to talk about God in the public square much longer? With Jesus' name being welcomed less and less in the public square, it's become a critical moment in the lives of Christians everywhere. The tension in God's Not Dead 2 likewise begins with God being discussed in the classroom. In the original God's Not Dead, we saw a case of God's name not being welcomed in a college classroom. ![]() While many have recently tried to stamp out the name of God and Jesus and get their names removed from the public schools and from the public squares in general, God's Not Dead 2 is a powerful reminder and encouragement that people need to stand up for what they believe in. Like the first film, this movie centers around a bold proclamation: that God is not dead. In this continuation of the PureFlix Entertainment franchise, the film will take you back to look at some of your favorite characters from the previous film while also introducing you to brand new characters and stories. God's Not Dead 2 is the incredibly powerful sequel to the 2014 box office sensation God's Not Dead.
![]() ![]() The following screenshots show the VBO + GLSL shader version of the demo: ![]() – no VBO + fixed pipeline for texturing/lighting (OpenGL 1.2)īoth versions worked fine in VirtualBox 3.0. This demo displays a simple textured mesh torus. So I coded a small OpenGL demo with the same 3D engine than GPU Caps Viewer demos. I tried to launch GPU Caps Viewer demos but without success. Okay, all theses tests are cool, but how an OpenGL application works in VirtualBox 3.0? How an OpenGL 2.0 (with some GLSL shaders) demo runs? Humm… GPU-Z does not like virtual graphics cards! Just for the fun, let’s look at what GPU-Z displays: This time, GPU Caps Viewer has detected an OpenGL 2.0 graphics card with 66 extensions. Once installed, VirtualBox 3.0 found the virtual hard disk created by VirtualBox 2.2.4:īefore starting GPU Caps Viewer, one has to install also the Guest Additions that come with VirtualBox 3.0. The cool thing with VirtualBox is that it installs a fully working virtual network adapter so you can directly surf the web at the first start of the guest. Okay now I can download the beta of VirtualBox 3.0. But in the same time, this is the limitation of VirtualBox 2.x.x: OpenGL 1.5.ĭid you notice the renderer name Chromium? Chromium is the virtual OpenGL renderer of VirtualBox. Wooo3D acceleration support can be enabled in VirtualBox settings:Īh… it’s better. ![]() So the first things I did were: 1/ install VirtualBox 2.2.4 on my host (Windows XP SP2 32-bit) 2/ create a virtual hard disk (20Gb – it’s an image file on host’s hard disk) and install on this disk Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit 3/ install the Guest Additions (guest additions provide closer integration between host and guest and improve the interactive performance of guest systems – better mouse integration and above all better graphics card support) and 4/ fire up GPU Caps Viewer: Even if you have the latest Radeon or GeForce monster in the host, a 3D application running in the guest won’t see it. Because in a virtual machine, there is no real hardware and the graphics card is virtualized. What I wanted to see is how GPU Caps Viewer works in the virtual machine. My host machine is an AMD X2 3800+ / 2Gb RAM / GeForce GTX 280 + ForceWare 190.15 / Windows XP SP2 32-bit. To understand what VirtualBox 3.0 brings in OpenGL, I started my experimentations with the previous stable release: VirtualBox 2.2.4. – Support for OpenGL 2.0 for Windows, Linux and Solaris guests – Windows guests: ability to use Direct3D 8/9 applications / games (experimental) – Guest SMP with up to 32 virtual CPUs (VT-x and AMD-V only) Here are the main features of VirtualBox 3.0: More exactly, VirtualBox 3.0 supports OpenGL 2.0 and Direct3D 8. Wait a minute… why did I decide to test VirtualBox? Because all news claimed VirtualBox 3.0 BETA has now an improved… OpenGL support. Your physical computer is called the host, while the virtual machine is called the guest. What does it mean? With VirtualBox, you can run unmodified operating systems (including all softwares installed on these operating systems) directly on top of your existing operating system, in a special environment called a virtual machine. VirtualBox is a virtualization technology for x86 hardware. VirtualBox is a virtual machine like the famous VMware or VirtualPC (although VirtualPC seems to be limited to run different Windows versions in Windows).
